How do I connect my phone line (RJ11) to my ethernet?
I 776124Q Lenovo notebook models. I installed Fedora Core 6 on my laptop computer. My situation only supports dial to connect to the Internet. I Agere Systems HDA modem on my laptop. No drivers for this modem. Is it possible to work with my Ethernet? (In other words, if I connect my RJ11 (phone jack) to my laptop Ethernet) that work not. Not only the different connectors, but the voltages involved are very different and may damage your computer. To use the Ethernet connector must have ADSL and a router.
